Course Intorduction
This course is addressed to participants interested to develop knowledge in refinery turnaround maintenance. It provides detailed explanation of all the different stages of the turnaround work process. Methodologies, procedures, best practices and practical experience will be discussed. No previous experience in planning and execution of turnarounds is required.
Course Objectives
- To provide training on the different stages of turnaround maintenance.
- To develop skills and methodology for preparation of budget and scope of work.
- To introduce reliability concepts related to turnarounds, like risk-based inspection, preparation of scope of work, and equipment data management.
- To explain what asset management and profit-driven reliability & maintenance are.
- To share lessons learned and practical experiences of major turnarounds in oil refineries.
